Wayne has been an integral part of the Chapel House team since joining as an animal nursing assistant in August 2004. He then enrolled as a student nurse in 2005, qualifying as a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) in 2008. In 2013, Wayne gained his clinical coaching certificate and became part of our dedicated team who are responsible for nurse training and assessment.

In 2015 he was promoted to the role of Head Nurse, this now puts him in charge of the nursing and reception staff. Wayne enjoys using the variety of skills that are required of a RVN and the fact that no two days are ever the same.

Out of work Wayne enjoys spending time with his wife and being run ragged by his young son. Wayne has rescued and re-homed multiple animals that have been in need.

He is also a member of the local Crossfit box.
