This is a photo of Minnie Shaw, whom we now look after with kind agreement of her owner Penny Shaw.
On 26 November 2015 whilst Minnie was with us, she had to have a lot of teeth removed. Minnie started out her life as a rescue cat so Penny is unsure as to her exact date, but we do know that she arrived with Penny in 2003 and could have been up to 2 years old then.
So, when Minnie had to have a general anaesthetic at the grand age of up to 14/15 years I was really worried.
Jenny, the Vet, put our minds at rest assuring us that the anaesthetic is that used for humans and that she had performed operations on cats older who had gone on to a happy life.
Sure enough, here is Minnie on 14 December 2015 shortly after her big operation and back on her favourite bed surrounded by all her home comforts.
Thank you so much to Jenny and the wonderful team at Chapel House.
