Wayne has been a valued member of the Chapel House team since joining as an Animal Nursing Assistant in August 2004. He began his formal training as a student nurse in 2005 with Bottle Green Training and qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) in 2008.

In 2013, Wayne achieved his Clinical Coaching Certificate, playing a key role in supporting nurse training and development within the practice. His commitment to education and team growth has been a consistent part of his career.

Promoted to Head Nurse in 2015, Wayne now leads the nursing teams, ensuring high standards of patient care and smooth day-to-day operations. He particularly enjoys the variety the role brings and the opportunity to use his broad skill set—no two days are ever the same.

With a strong commitment to continuous development, completing his PGCert in Veterinary Business Management in 2025 through Liverpool University has enhanced his leadership, communication and performance improvement skills. Enabling him to better support the team and deliver high standards of patient and client care.

Outside of work, Wayne enjoys spending time with his family and keeping active. He has also rescued and rehomed several animals over the years, reflecting his genuine passion for animal welfare.
